 5 February 2012 - Walks Cancelled
« Thread Started on Feb 5, 2012, 8:44am »

For the first time ever (that's coming up for 7 years of organised walks) because of the weather conditions today, regretfully our walks at Brandon CP and Valentines Park are officially cancelled as we don't want out volunteers risking travelling out in such poor road conditions.

We will try and get to the parks on foot in case anyone does turn up but this can't be guaranteed.

We'll update as necessary, apologise, but know you'll understand.

Enjoy your day watching the pretty snow from your armchairs?

Very sensible decision. We took Hattie to a little park round the corner and luckily there was nobody else there so she had some fun in the snow on her own. However, there were still people driving on the road that hasn't been gritted or cleared, the snow must be about 5 inches deep here and the cars were barely under control.

Some people are just asking for trouble >:(
